Phi Sigma Sigma was founded in 1913 as the first nonsecretarian sorority, becoming the only sorority at the time to not base membership on religion or background. This original goal of our founders has grown, with Phi Sigma Sigma colonizing chapters at over 110 colleges, from private universities to community colleges. Our sisterhood is based on our values, not faith, sexuality, or race.
Within recent years, our chapter has introduced a Multiculturalism and Diversity Committee. Each semester we host a cultural dinner, which is open to all of Greek Life, allowing everyone to showcase cooking from home, wherever that may be.
